The initial trickle of information about Fallout: New Vegas is rapidly turning into a tide, with yet another Developer Diary just released by Obsidian, this one focusing on the Factions within the game. Factions play a big role in Fallout: New Vegas, and the player’s actions in the game will have big repercussions with the various NPCs and their groups. See the video for yourself below:
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a new japanese fighting game due out on October 15th, and is the sequel to Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, which was released back in 2008. Featuring 23 interative and destructable stages, as well as a roster of over 40 fighters (including Lars from Tekken 6!), Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 also features a free roaming mode, where players will be able to roam around and outside Hidden Leaf Village, with environments ranging from forests to deserts. Think that sounds exciting? Then check out this ‘Behind the Game’ trailer:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been in development for over three years yet Eidos somehow kept it under wraps for most of that time. Now the cat’s out of the bag however, and the game is now scheduled for release in February 2011.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is technically a ‘prequel’, set in a time period before Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and will feature similar gameplay mechanics but this time will focus of mechanical augmentations rather than the nano augmentations of the first two games.
We’ve not seen that much of Human Revolution, with only a few technical demos, short videos and screenshots, but so far it’s looking pretty damned good. We were fortunate enough to get a proper look at Human Revolution at Eurogamer Expo 2010 and to be honest, it blew most of the other games clean out of the water. The Human Revolution presentation by Eidos was genuinely exciting. It was all in-game and fully rendered footage, running on a PlayStation 3. Read more
Fallout: New Vegas is out in a matter of weeks but that’s not stopped developer Obsidian from releasing their third Developer Diary, this time focusing on the ‘Art Direction’ of the game. It looks pretty damned exciting to us, see what you think of it:
The official WRC game World Rally Championship is out in a couple of days but if you can’t wait to see some rally action on a PS3 near you then check out this brand new trailer from the developer, Black Bean Games:
This new Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood trailer shows some nifty gameplay of the beta in all 3 maps and both of the game modes available in the Beta:
Awesome, huh? The Beta is currently available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers and will be available to all who pre-order the game at most retailers next week.
Call of Duty gets its first new game mode in a long time, along with it’s own currency! That’s right, Call of Duty has an added currency system! Here’s the vid;
What did you think? A new step in Call of Duty history? Or some cheap knock-off of Halo (along with theater mode)?
The second developer diary from Obsidian for Fallout: New Vegas has just been released, this time around focusing on the ‘technology and sound’ of the game:
After the slow-burning but eventual success of Dead Space, it was inevitable that a sequel would soon follow. The original game didn’t feature any multiplayer content and, in a similar manner to BioShock 2, the developers have decided to add a multiplayer component to the sequel.
From what we can see in the video below, the team-based multiplayer action in Dead Space 2 looks very exciting and could help bring the Dead Space universe to a new generation of fans. Have a look for yourself and see what you think:
