Has everyone heard that the bird is the word? Angry Birds that is. Angry Birds has been one of the most successful handheld games on the mobile market and has now made its way to the PlayStation 3 and PSP as a PlayStation minis title. There isn’t really a plot to the series itself but basically the whole game boils down to your getting revenge on on a bunch of green pigs for stealing your eggs as you attempt to retrieve them.
Gameplay: If you have played it on a smartphone or iPad, you’ll immediately notice that there aren’t any touch screen controls to fire your bird. Instead, you use the analog stick to aim how high or low you want to fire, and tap/press X to release your bird from slingshot. There are several different types of birds you’ll use throughout each of the levels, including a red bird, which is the basic and standard bird, blue birds which can separate into three birds if you tap X at any time, and also black birds which can explode and cause a lot of damage. There are also White birds which can drop egg bombs from above. Read more
