E3 2010 PlayStation Move Tech Demo

IGN have just released a video of the PlayStation Move Tech Demo from E3 2010. The video shows the technology behind PlayStation Move and how the user’s movements are charted. Considering that it’s impossible to totally eliminate lag, the amount of lag visible in the video is so minute that it’s almost unnoticeable. See the full video for yourself below:

Fallout: New Vegas E3 Trailer

You’ll be pleased to know that the Fallout: New Vegas Trailer for E3 has finally been revealed, and within its contents is a good look at the streets of New Vegas as well as a ton of gameplay – the first we’ve yet to see. From the looks of things, the gameplay and graphics will be similar, mainly because the game will be running on the same engine as its predecessor – Gamebryo. If you’re interested in a peak at the game, the trailer is included below.

Little is yet known about how similar the game will be to the highly acclaimed Fallout 3, but Obsidian have confirmed that they will be adding several new features to the game as well as reinstating some features from earlier in the series, many of which are listed in nineinchnailed’s preview here. Of course being a game based in Las Vegas, there will be plenty of mini-games available to play when visiting the city that never sleeps, namely Blackjack and Slot Machines, but more will be revealed soon enough.

Fallout: New Vegas is currently destined for release in Autumn 2010, although no concrete date has been announced yet.

Sony’s Second ‘Huge’ Announcement

I wouldn’t get too excited if I were you… Sony’s second ‘huge’ announcement is another trailer of a game that has already been announced – SOCOM Special Forces. This isn’t the first time that Sony has made mountains out of molehills, albeit large molehills just the same, unless the guys at the EU PS Blog are just teasing us. The trailer, which is below for convenience, shows off the destructible environments as well as the new AI system also noticeable is the confirmation of Move compatibility, but we knew that anyway, right? Enjoy.

Sony’s First Big Announcement of the Weekend

As stated yesterday in the post below, two massive announcements would be hosted on the EU PS Blog this morning, and the first one has surfaced. The first ever Killzone 3 gameplay trailer has been released on the Blog, with the whole trailer using in-game footage of the fourth level, Frozen Shores. Take a peek at the trailer below, and be sure to be here when the Sony’s next big announcement arrives.

Two Huge Announcements By Sony Imminent

Yes, you heard right! Sony have revealed that they are about to make another two huge announcements, all on the Official EU PlayStation Blog tomorrow morning in a tweet from “PlayStation EU” – “Who said weekends are quiet? Two huge announcements on the EU PS Blog on Saturday Morning!”.  These come just ahead of a mountain of other announcements including LittleBigPlanet 2, inFamous 2, Motorstorm: Apocalypse, Killzone 3 and much more, all before E3.

But surely you’re thinking, why announce these now? E3 is just a few days away, at this rate Sony will have nothing left to reveal. But wait, Sony have been incredibly clever about this, by announcing this year’s E3 games just shy of the event, they have earned exclusive media coverage of all their new titles – with no competition from Nintendo or Microsoft. Let’s just hope that Sony have a few more surprises up their sleeve when the time comes at E3.

There have been no clues as to what this weekend’s announcements will be about, it may be new games, it may be the premium PSN service that everyone is talking about, it may even be the widely rumoured XMB redesign, or it may be something even bigger than that! Whatever you do, head over to the EU Blog tomorrow morning or catch our coverage of the news here at PlayStation Future.

Enslaved E3 2010 Trailer

The E3 2010 Trailer for upcoming game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West has been revealed. The trailer seems to reveal more about the setting of the game – a post-apocalyptic one at that – as well as a bigger look at those gorgeous graphics. There also seems to be a look at the combat side of things and the relationship between “Monkey” and “Trip” (the girl).

In bigger news though, the trailer narrows down the Autumn 2010 release date we’ve been working with to October 2010. This could be a big risk by Namco Bandai as this is the time when many big releases come out for the holiday period, who knows though, if the trailer is anything to go by, this game might just cause a bit of a ruckus when it’s released later this year. The trailer in question is here for your viewing pleasure:
