Unverified claims that the PlayStation 3 console has been finally hacked have originated from a group known as PSJailbreak. The claims centre around a supposed USB stick which, when inserted into a PlayStation 3, allows homemade and pirated games to be played on the console.

Currently PlayStation 3 is the only mainstream console that hasn’t been fully hacked but that may be set to change if the claims of PSJailbreak turn out to be true. The group have uploaded a video to YouTube to show how the hack works; have a look at the video and decide for yourself how much truth is in the claims:
