That’s a good question – I don’t know for certain but I reckon it’ll have to be R2 (though they may let you change this). Virtually all modern racing games use R2 for acceleration now – the only PS3 racing game I’ve played that uses X is WipEout HD/Fury.

Awesome preview. This could easily be the best F1 game ever. I was kinda gutted when Studio Liverpool lost the licence and there wasn’t going to be a 2009 game but it looks like this could be well worth the wait. Codies have put some serious effort into this, just as F1 is becoming exciting again. Roll on 24th September!
